As sole owner of pico ARCHITECTURE inc., Gail is a seasoned project manager with over 20 years of professional experience managing a diverse portfolio of educational, health care, commercial, and institutional clients. Appreciated for her ability to organize information, people and data, Gail believes patience and active listening are the keys to delivering successful projects.

EVAN JAMESON
Architect
BEnvD MArch MAA
Evan joined the pico ARCHITECTURE team in early 2015 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design and a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Manitoba. Evan is an engaged member and is involved in all phases of the design process.
Fun fact: Evan is also a 4th dan Taekwondo black belt for the past 15 years.
TIM HORTON
Architect
BEnvD MArch MAA MRAIC
Tim joined us in 2020 following the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Manitoba in 2016. Between his undergraduate and masters degrees, Tim worked as a project manager for a local school division, which is where his interest in public and institutional architecture began. His thesis was centered around building inter-urban learning spaces for the 21st century and believes that the highlight of visiting any new city involves a trip to its central library.
Fun Fact: The 300th Canadian location of Tim Horton Donuts was opened just before Tim was born, although his parents don’t remember one in Winnipeg at the time. They liked the name “Timothy” and, despite warnings from his grandparents, didn’t think the restaurant or the hockey player sharing this moniker were well known enough to draw comparison.
TARA FULLER
Architectural Intern
BA BEnvD MArch
Tara joined our team after graduating with a Master of Architecture at the University of Manitoba on the RAIC honour roll. She holds a prior degree in studio art and ran a successful graphic design practice before moving into architecture. She likes designs that solve problems and work at a human scale.
Fun Fact: Tara likes painting, gardening and being around dogs. Her love for design traces back to childhood, when she would wander off in search of wallpaper and color samples, curating ideas for her future home. That same intention and artistry continue to shape her work.
MICHELLE PEAKE
Project Designer
BEnvD MArch
Michelle joined the pico ARCHITECTURE team after years working in the field and graduating from the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Manitoba. Michelle’s experience spans various scales - from custom furniture pieces and individual residential renovations, to large commercial retail projects. She has been actively engaged in all phases of the design and construction process.
Fun Fact: Michelle owns a mini donkey named Fred.
ARTURO MACIAS
Project Designer
BArch
Arturo is a Colombian architect with 8 years of industry experience. Since joining pico ARCHITECTURE in 2024, he has enjoyed illustrating conceptual designs through 3D visualization. With a keen eye for detail, Arturo ensures designs—whether a sleek modern structure or a bold, unconventional space—are thoughtfully represented.
Fun Fact: During his undergrad, Arturo built an electric guitar from scratch because he “needed more design challenges.” The project was so memorable, he got a guitar tattooed on his right arm.
Now, his designs always strike the right chord.
JOSH LINGAL
Interior Design Technician
BEnvD (Interior Design)
Josh graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Manitoba. His interior design experience includes both residential and commercial projects ranging from single family homes, commercial offices, lounges, and restaurants across Manitoba. Josh is interested in the relationship between designed spaces and human behaviour, and how interior design support and enhance everyday living.
Fun Fact: Josh believes he briefly experienced astral projection—an out-of-body experience—while taking an afternoon nap.
MONICA CHIANG
Architectural Design Technician
Barch
Monica holds a dual Bachelor's degrees in Architecture and Real Estate from the University of Washington. Her professional experience spans the built environment industry, including residential design, commercial green leasing, and interior cabinetry design. Monica brings her passion for sustainability to every project, prioritizing both functionality and environmental responsibility.
Fun Fact: Monica has been playing percussion since she was 4 years old. Despite her many years behind the drum kit, Monica still gets *VERY* nervous on stage with the UM concert band.
On and off the stage, Monica seamlessly blends technical skill with creativity, never missing a beat.
NATE FLAMAN
Communications & Marketing Coordinator
Drawing on his communications background, Nate uses storytelling to keep pico ARCHITECTURE connected—within our team, with our clients, and with our community. Nate moved to Winnipeg in 2014 to pursue film, later broadening his focus to marketing and strategy.
His writing has earned local advertising awards and led him to film screenings across North America.
Fun Fact: Nate has planted over 150,000 trees. In his downtime, you can find him sharing a tin of sardines with his dog or riding his bike around St. Boniface.

Amelia joined the pico ARCHITECTURE team in 2020 and works part-time as an administrative assistant. Her duties include marketing, website design, colour board arrangement, file management, template design, and anything else that needs doing in the office!
