As a founding partner of pico ARCHITECTURE inc., Gail is a seasoned project manager with over 20 years of professional experience managing a diverse portfolio of educational, health care, commercial, and institutional clients. Appreciated for her ability to organize information, people and data, Gail believes patience and active listening are the keys to delivering successful projects.
Fun Fact: Gail's talent in creating themed birthday cakes gives The Cake Boss a run for his money!
Lawrence is licensed as an architect and a planner, so when he works with clients he brings many years of experience in a range of projects — from an Elizabethan theatre to green neighbourhoods. Passionate about the social side of architecture and urban design, he serves on the board of directors of Sustainable Building Manitoba, and writes for Canadian Architect and other publications.
Fun fact: in his spare time, Lawrence turns satellite images into media art, and likes to travel wherever his work happens to be screened (the UK, Belgium, Colombia...)
Henry is an architect and holds a Bachelor of Technology in Architectural Science from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, and a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Manitoba. His experience focuses on institutional projects, including recreational, community and early childhood education facilities. Henry takes a special interest in building science, technology and durability.
Fun Fact: Henry is an avid cycling enthusiast who regularly commutes by bike. His love of bicycles was sparked by the simplicity and freedom of exploring on two wheels.
Evan joined the office in early 2015 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Design and a Masters degree in Architecture from the University of Manitoba. Evan is an engaged and motivated team member and is involved in all phases of the design process.
Fun fact: Evan is a 4th dan Taekwondo black belt and has been teaching Taekwondo for more than 15 years.
Bobbi joined the pico ARCHITECTURE team in early 2016 and graduated from the Masters of Architecture program at the University of Manitoba in 2012. She has earned her LEED AP accreditation and is passionate about environmentally conscious, carefully designed projects.
Fun Fact: Between Undergrad and Masters she spent several months in an Eco Village in southern Israel living in a straw bale home, studying permaculture, sustainable design, and community development.
Lena was born and grew up in Trinidad and settled in Winnipeg in 2005. She has experience in both the Medical and Business fields. Lena has a keen sense of prioritization, safety and attention to details.
As a child Lena liked art and crafts, which she now enjoys sharing with her four-year-old daughter. Her appreciation for good design is exemplified in her hobby baking cakes and decorating with fondant.
